Hand painted monograms are an incredible option for VIP events, when you want to really "wow" your guests, and have the ability to bring on multiple artists to make for an incredible gifting experience.



The guest list for this event included VIPs, PR, media, and influencers. So it was the perfect opportunity to invest in a high-touch activation with a team of talented artists who could produce quality work, while maintaining an efficient flow and positively interacting with guests.



Roselly of The Inking Rose worked with the client ahead of time to determine the color options and style that would be in line with the event and brand aesthetic. She also painted some samples, so it was easy for guests to see exactly what the finished product would look like.



A monogram customization form was created to match with the brand aesthetic, and to create an easy way for guests to order.



Each item took about 20 minutes to paint by hand, so it was imperative we had an efficient ordering system and a talented team to work through the amount of orders.

And to no one's surprise, I got to yapping with the Art Director for this project and at the end of the day, I painted a custom NY Knicks calligraphy-style leather pouch for her, shared below. She had to head out the door to her next event before I could erase the baseline and add my infamous sparkles, but I love how it turned out nonetheless.



For future events, I think offering both block lettering and calligraphy style lettering for leather pouch personalization would be so fun!
